Morning, just wanted to try my luck one last time otherwise ill have to take him to the pound. I have a 6 month old german sheperd x mastiff, i tried to rehome the family took him home left him with me while they went on holiday but have decided he is not a good suitability for him. Please be aware he still is a puppy, in rough play he will nip not bite. I have never had an issue with him biting or being aggressive to my kids hes just boisterous which isnt good for us as i have a one year old, if hes going to a home with kids they ideally should be over the age of 8 as hes only just okay with my 5 year old. Hes very high energy, had all 3 shots just not his booster. He has been microchipped and desexed just don’t have enough to register him. Hence another reason why i am wanting to rehome him as i have my own dog and he came into my care.

He isnt too good on a lead he tugs, gets really over excited. However i do think this is due to the fact as soon as the male figure left his ears went out the window and he kept trying to dominate me and his sister (my dog). He is also trying to fight her an they are no longer compatible, i have 3 kids and its gotten too full on to the point where i cant give my kids and both dogs the time and love they deserve.

If someone is interested we are in the lower hutt valley, will give his stuff upon pickup as well as vaccination book. Just one condition is id like him to stay with the same vet as they do know about the medication etc that works well for whenever he needs to go under etc. No muck arounds please! Hes really loveable he loves kids just isnt aware of boundaries when it comes to littlies. I also dont want to risk traumatising him even more due to the fact now that he has come back i have noticed some behavioural issues that he didnt exhibit before he had left.

This is my last chance of rehoming him and id really like him to go to a stable loving home, it needs to be a forever thing. Not just oh thank you for the christmas present and for him to be returned its not just my kids going through this pain but zeus as well which is unfair.
