20 month old, entire male. PRA clear.
Vaccinated & microchipped

Through no fault of his own, Oaks is looking for a new forever home.
He is a super athletic type, LOVES running.
He was intended to be a stud dog but one ear refuses to stand up, meaning he doesn't make breed standard. He is also a bit too full on for my older dogs and does wind them up with his energy. He is still entire but is genetically not suitable for breeding, I'm happy to discuss this further with potential new owners.
Oaks is a typical teenager at the moment and full of beans. For all his boof-headedness he is a sensitive soul, he loves training and is always focused and eager to please.
He has completed beginner and intermediate basic obedience classes with Julie Donovan.
His ideal new home will be an active one, and I think he would thrive doing dog sports like agility, rally-o and hoopers.
He's ok with other dogs, providing introductions are done carefully, but he is a lot and can be a bit overwhelming. At training he has learnt to ignore other dogs and just focus on me. He will chase cats, this could possibly be corrected with training. He hasn't had the opportunity to chase chickens or stock, so I don't know what he'd be like there. He was fascinated with the alpaca cria we had living with us for a while and was very gentle with her. He hasn't spent any time round children either, but he'd be too boisterous for small ones.
Oaks s inside, is house and crate trained. He still finds car journeys a bit stressful, but he'll just sit in the back and drool, so he's not ideal for longer car journeys but this may change with time, so ideally, he would go to a local Canterbury based home.
Happy to do a trial period, and if for whatever reason his new home doesn't work out, he'll always be welcomed back at mine.
