1st generation westipoo, parti poodle. Rare designer breed with a harlequin coat. The 1st recorded import to nz of the parti poodle breed occurred in 2006. It is an ancient breed dating to 1400 - 1500 century europe, interestingly it is the true origin of the standard poodle breeds.
West highland terriers are a cultural icon in the uk appearing in various media, even as mascots. They were developed as a breed in the 1800's for hunting small game in the rugged scottish highlands.
Bella, 2,2 kg , 21 cm in height to the shoulder, highly intelligent and well socialized. She is a chilled out friendly minature parti poodle / westhighland terrier cross, expected on maturity to be 5 kg. She has had her veterinary health check, 1st and 2nd vaccinations, she has been microchipped and is now ready for her new family.

Both parents are our adored pets at our large central Hamilton property close to parks, reserves and the Waikato river where we enjoy walks and swims in a natural environment. The mother is a Parti poodle / westhighland terrier 32 cm to shoulder, 5kg. The father is miniature poodle 30 cm to shoulder, 6 kg.

The photo of the white poodle is from a previous litter at 1 year old. As per photo, no parti poodle colours showing in her. The photo showing 2 dogs side by side , the mother is on the right side, father on the left side. The dark chocolate puppy seen in photos is her sibling and she is listed separately in the poodle category.

This dog breed is well suited to family life in a urban environment. Younger and older people alike will not feel overwhelmed of intimidated by the size, strength and vigour of a young dog. Intelligence wise, they are one of the top breeds along with German shepherds and Border collies.
