Ellie is a 6 yr old Black lab x
She is smaller than a lab averaging around 25kg.
I have had her since she was a puppy but unfortunately never got to meet her parents so unsure of exact breed.
Ellie is a huge couch potato and would love nothing more than to sleep all day curled up nice and cozy. She loves cuddles and attention and is always super excited to see you when you get home. She also loves car rides. She knows her basic commands.
Ellie currently s with another large dog and loves seeing family's dogs (Jack Russel's and a corgi). She has also d alone in the past.
She can be anxious around other dogs that she does not know however if introduced properly will settle.
We do not have young kids in the family so I am not sure how she would react but we have visited friends with children and she has been fine.
I am trying to find Ellie a home as we have moved to a farm and unfortunately the farm life is not for her.
I have tried for the last 6 months to help her settle but her prey drive for smaller animals is rather strong. (She will chase rabbits through and over fence lines). She is absolutely fine with the larger animals (sheep, donkey, horses etc.)
She is fine with chickens as long as they stay on their side of the fence and as she is quite agile she will need good backyard fencing at home.
She has been desexed and is up to date with her worming etc.
Home is super important as I really didn't want to be doing this but I feel a home in town is where she would be happier and less stressed.
