BB is a golden labrador with a golden heart (located in Otaki). This handsome-hunk was mistreated and malnourished, but he's recovered and rehabilitated with his wonderful foster mama. He's loved and wants to love. He s for his blanket and his bed, and cuddles on the couch.

He's learnt to relax, trust, and even have fun! He's learnt basic commands and is a clever-cookie. He's also got nice leash manners and well-behaved at the vet. He enjoys strolls at the river and needs moderate exercise - He can amuse himself when at work, just give him a kong filled with something yummy.

He will greet with a gentle-growl because he's unsure, but within minutes he's leaning all his weight on you for scratches (especially when you find his sweet spot that makes him go weak and melt). This behaviour will pass with time as his trauma heals.

He loves a game of fetch or tug - He's a natural with his nose and has strong play-drive and wants to "seek" so could actually be trained for scent-work - He's shown all the correct behaviours for it.

He's d with another dog (was fine) but is untested with cats and stock.

He wouldn't be suited to a home with children as he needs calm. He needs a pawrent who'll be consistent and will cherish him as he bonds hard with his trusted human.

He's in excellent health and had all the needful done at the vet. Got room in heart and home for this sweetheart?
