Please consider us…Luna and Max
Price: $100.00Please consider us…Luna and Max
8 months old
Do you have a lifestyle property/farm that would be “purrfect” for Luna and Max?
Luna is approx 2 yrs old and Max is 7 mths old.
Luna is a sleek, petite and beautiful black girl, with eyes that seek kindness and understanding, and cheeky fun once she is comfortable with her surroundings.
Max is her “tuxedo” velcro son, shy in nature but once he’s comfortable that he is safe, he lets his guard down and zoomies are the order of the day. He loves temptations and is very gentle when he takes them from fingers. Max watches Luna interact and is learning that pats are pretty enjoyable.
Where Luna goes, Max is not far behind, so they need to be adopted together.
Born outside and living rough was their beginning but it won’t be their ending - Anne at the NZ Cat Foundation agreed to organize a foster home and they have been living with one since January – learning that humans can be kind, patient, loving and fun!.
A lifestyle property or a farm and barn type situation would be amazing – as long as they are taken care of appropriately.
A new forever home will be a huge adjustment for Luna and Max to make and their new people will need to be understanding of true rescue cats – lots of patience, kindness, time, encouragement, space, love and treats! But most of all…love. They deserve to be loved. They have been fostered with a cat savvy dog and Luna especially is very fond of him…Max is wary but not afraid.
They are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. They don’t have fleas and worms… Litter box trained.
Once adopted, they would need to be kept indoors at least 4 weeks minimum to acclimate to new surroundings, and then a supervised introduction to the outdoors.
If you would like to meet Luna and Max, please make contact. There is a $100 adoption fee which goes to the NZ Cat Foundation to help continue their amazing work rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming kittens and cats. You will also need to complete an application form prior to meeting to be sure of a good match.
