Bertie is a special man from a big stray site in Swanson. He decided he was tame within 12 hours of coming into care! Smart boy.

If quirky is what you’re after, Bertie is your guy!
He loves to run and play - although he’s pretty chill and low energy so most of the time he’s quite happy lounging on the couch with his kitten friend Mabel, watching the world go by. Bertie is obsessed with his foster parents but wary of new people. He will squark at you for attention or to let you know it’s dinner time (he’s a big foodie) and loves to climb up on to his foster humans to snuggle up under their chin.

Bertie is smaller and stumpier than other kittens his age - the vet says it’s probably a growth deformity but it’s nothing that stops him from living his best kitten life. He’s been checked out and has no restriction of movement, he’ll likely just stay a bit of a funny shape and may or may not keep his signature waddle! Depending on how he grows, he may be best suited to an indoor only home.

Bertie will need new owners that can give him a bit of time to settle into a new place with new people and is best with no young kids or dogs. He would love to go to a home with his foster sister Mabel. Bertie would be fine with other chill cats.
