Rani and Tasman were trapped outside an industrial lot in Onehunga, initially both were very timid, but they have made strides of progress and now a both little purr monsters. Tasman was the first to truly come out of his shell and we thought he could be adopted first, but after seeing how much they love to snuggle and how much they learn from each other it only seems right they stick together.

Tasman is the curious and more confident one of the two with Rani closely observing her brother and following his lead. Tasman takes a little bit of warming up to new people, but once there he loves to snuggle, give head rubs and flop his belly for scratches. His favourite spots for scratches are his cheeks and the base of his tale. Tasman is confident with playtime and especially loves ribbon toys.

Rani has made tremendous progress but is still very shy and will need someone who can give her time to settle. Rani will purr even without being touched. Her favourite place for pats is the top of her head. Rani also likes ribbon toys and playtime is when she shows the most confidence. Most of all, Rani loves to snuggle with Tasman in the sun.

Tasman and Rani would be suitable in a quiet home, with older children and would be fine around other cats.
