Dakota was living in the bush by a busy street with her young kitten. At first, she's a bit shy around new people and may hiss if she feels scared, but she's never shown any aggression in her foster home. Once she gets comfortable, Dakota is incredibly affectionate and even dribbles with love. She loves tummy and booty scratches and is very food-driven, especially when it comes to Temptations treats.

Ideal Home: While she's not fond of being picked up, Dakota has been fostered with other cats, whom she adores, and is used to older children who approach her gently. She's cautious around dogs. To help her adjust, Dakota should be kept in a smaller room initially, where she can bond with her new family without feeling overwhelmed or having too many places to hide. Her new adopter will need to be patient and give her the time she needs to settle in.
