We are Jake and Elwood.....two high-stakes escape artists who busted out of Christchurch Men’s Prison. That’s right. Hard time. The Big House. Solitary confinement in Prisoner Cell Block Meow. Our crime? Being too darn cute.

After an epic jailbreak (which may or may not have involved a distraction involving a guard dog and a strategically placed ball of wool), we found refuge in foster with Kitty Kingdom, where we’re now plotting our next big job......finding our furever homes.


Jake – The Muscle (and the Snuggler):

I’m Jake. Big. Fearless. A smooth operator. You got kids? Love ‘em. Chickens? No problem. Dogs? Been there. Seen it all. Nothing phases me.....except the thought of a day without cuddles. If you’ve got a lap, a chest, or even just a warm patch of carpet, I will find it and will smother it with love. My mission in life? To be your personal, purring, smoochy shadow.


Elwood – The Mastermind (and the Acrobat):

I’m Elwood. The brains. The climber. The “I’ll cuddle you when I’m ready” kinda guy. I like my space, I like my adventures, and I like to perch.....preferably somewhere high, where I can survey my domain like a tiny, furry mob boss. I’m fine with kids, but I’d prefer the bigger ones….the little hoomans are ok, but they don’t gel so much with my cool, calm and collected vibe. I’ve d with dogs, chickens, sheep, and cows.......I’ve seen things, man. But now, I’m ready to settle down….on my terms.

We’ve been on the run, we’ve done our time, and now we’re looking for our forever gigs.
