Beautiful Peaches is such an all round gorgeous cat!

Playful - she especially loves to swipe at the toys on elastic and she looks so cute doing it with her little white mittens.

Cuddly - Peaches does this really sweet coy head duck and then raises her back as you stroke her. Once she trusts you she is a sucker for pats on her belly and you can often find her capsized waiting to be adored (as per photos!)

Vocal - she does these sweet little shrills to get your attention, particularly in response to pats or if she is asking for snacks.

Friendly - she is always part of the welcoming committee when we enter the house! Loves to greet you with her friendly sweet face and to be given pats and rubs in return. Good with people once trust has been established. Great with other cats and kittens, she could easily be homed with one of our other adult fosters in Birkenhead. Would possibly be OK with a dog depending on the dog and the introduction.

Beautiful - she has such lovely unique, bright markings, she's a real stunner.

Food driven - it will be easy to bond with her by hand feeding treats. She especially loves chomping on raw chicken hearts.

Peaches came to us from a colony in Mangere. She was deemed too friendly to be desexed and returned to the colony. She had a kitten that sadly didn't survive and has been with us a few years now, through no fault of her own. So being adopted will be a big transition. She'll need a family who can support her with consistent love, time and patience. She is fairly confident once she gets to know you. We think she may be best in an environment without young kids.

All our cats are desexed, microchipped and is up to date with flea and worm treatments.

Please note we do not operate on a first come first served basis and will wait to find the right forever home for each cat or kitten. We prefer to home cats in the Auckland area to avoid stressful long distance travel.
