Sweet Chester was found as a kitten in the back of an Indian Spice Store in Mangere. Now a young adult he is handsome, sweet, charming and a bit bonkers come playtime, what more could you ask for in a Ginga Ninja?! Chester will likely be a bit shy in his new home to start with but with kind, gentle consistency to build his trust you can expect him to be attentive, engaging and happy to receive rubs and pats.

He’s a clever lad and a gentleman too; whilst some of the more naughty cats at the rescue try to steal food when we are prepping dinners, he likes to quietly sit on the kitchen stool behind us. He knows if he is a patient boy, his good manners will see him rewarded. And how can we resist.. have you seen that face!? Needless to say, he is fairly food driven and offering him all his favourite snacks will definitely help to sweeten the deal for him.

He LOVES a good zoomies sessions, so once comfortable in his new environment we suggest you batten down the hatches - He is pretty hilarious. He does enjoy a good playful game of chase with some of the other cats. Therefore, if you have an existing cat/s, they would need to be an even match in size, age and temperament to keep everyone happy. If you are looking to adopt 2, Chester is a good match for Toby (our 11 month old Tabby). He’d be fine as an only cat so long as you have time to play with him. We imagine he would do better in a dog free home. And ideal home would be a smaller number of family members with any children being secondary school age and cat savvy. We know Chester will love being outside (once fully settled) so safe outside space is a must please.

Desexed, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatments.

Adoption fee $200 or $350 for a pair applies.

Please note we do not operate on a first come first served basis and will wait to find the right forever home for each cat or kitten. We prefer to home cats in the Auckland area to avoid stressful long distance travel.
