Update: Bebony has been adopted. Laurel, Fern, Iris & Ivy are still waiting to be adopted.

Laurel, Fern, Iris & Ivy are sisters, found dumped on a roadside with their brother at only 3 weeks old. (Their brother already has a lovely home to go to when he is big enough). They would not have survived the night if they hadn't been luckily found and picked up just before nightfall. Bebony was rescued a few weeks later. She was given away at barely 6 weeks old to someone who didn't want her or know how to care for such a tiny and extremely distressed kitten. She quickly became part of the litter and is now a very happy little baby. The 5 girls are all very affectionate and playful. They have been indoor-only since they were rescued. They do not have experience with dogs or young children but are all confident enough that they should adjust to a home with gentle children/ a gentle dog, if introduced carefully.

The adoption fee is $100 each. Preference is for them to be adopted in pairs, or to homes with another friendly cat/kitten for them to cuddle and play with.

The girls are all house-trained and up-to-date with flea and worm treatment. Before going to their new homes they will be desexed, microchipped, and will each have their first vaccination. Please do not ask to adopt them before they have been desexed, the answer will always be no.

The girls are currently in foster care in Kawerau, Bay of Plenty. Pet transport options are available throughout NZ (at the cost of the adopter).
