Nice breeding stock/new blood, these 2024 birds are now beautifully coloured, in breeding condition, ready for this season. I don't colony breed and ring the birds so unrelated can be easily identified.

My finches are aviary bred and need to be kept in a well sheltered outdoor aviary with 12mm wire size. A safety door is essential, they are fast and it is heartbreaking to lose your birds outside as they won't survive. They are not suited to small or indoor cages. Gouldians generally mix well with other finches, canaries. Finches should not be kept with birds like budgies, java sparrows, lovebirds as these birds tend to be very dominant.

Good quality finch/canary mix plus greens (seeding grasses, broccoli, bok choy, apple), access to cuttlefish, grit (microwave your egg shells for about 3/4mins and crush).
